As the Recode nears completion, our team has been busy working on draft revisions, meeting with the community, and keeping the Stakeholder Advisory Committee, Planning Commissioners, and City Council updated on the project’s progress.

Since October, eleven public meetings have been held, focusing on the third draft of the ordinance and the second draft of the zoning map. Six of those meetings were held throughout different areas of the City during the month of October, and additional Stakeholder Advisory Committee Meetings and Workshops were held for committee members to delve into specific topics. A public forum was also held. Hosted by Compass and Knoxville Area Association of Realtors, it included a moderated panel discussion and an audience Q&A. In total, these meetings had nearly 300 community members in attendance.
